Austria: 350th Anniversary of the University of Innsbruck

The University of Innsbruck (German: Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck; Latin: Universitas Leopoldino Franciscea) is a public university in Innsbruck, the capital of the Austrian federal state of Tyrol, founded in 1669. With around 28,000 students and 5,000 employees, it is today the largest educational institution in Western Austria, one of the country's leading research universities and shapes the region. In 2019 the university celebrated its 350th anniversary with numerous events.

Germany: Elsfleth w/ Fighting against Corona Postmark

Elsfleth is a town in the district of Wesermarsch, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated at the confluence of the River Hunte with the River Weser, on the left bank of the Weser. It has a school of navigation (university of applied sciences), a harbour and docks.

To note on this card, a fight against the Covid-19 pandemic postmark was applied. Since July 1st 2020 all mail sorting centers ("Briefzentrum") across Germany have this machine postmark. You can read on it "Gemeinsam gegen Corona / Sich selbst und andere schützen ..." ("Together Against Corona / Protect Yourself and Others ...").

USA: Fort Yukon, Alaska

Fort Yukon is a city in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area in the U.S. state of Alaska. The population, predominately Gwich'in Alaska Natives, was 583 at the 2010 census, down from 595 in 2000. Fort Yukon has a strongly continental subarctic climate. The highest temperature ever recorded in Alaska occurred in Fort Yukon on June 27, 1915, when it reached 100 °F or 37.8 °C. Fort Yukon is also subject to severe winters, being less influenced by chinook winds than areas to the west. Until 1971, Fort Yukon held the all-time lowest temperature record for Alaska and the United States at −78 °F or −61.1 °C

France's La Poste is continuing its tradition of having famous fashion designers or houses create the illustrations for its heart-shaped Love stamps issued in time for use on Valentines mail.The tradition began in 2000 with stamps designed by Yves Saint Laurent. The 2019 stamps were designed by Boucheron, a French luxury jewellery and watches house located in Paris.

Slobodan Jovanović (1869 – 1958) was a Serbian scientist and university professor, jurist, historian and a man of letters, President of the Serbian Royal Academy, Chancellor of the University of Belgrade, Dean of the Faculty of Law, President of the Serbian Cultural Club. Miloje M. Vasić (1869 - 1956) was an archeologist and university professor was born in Veliko Gradište. He was the director of the National Museum from 1906 to 1914.

Lausanne, also known as the “Olympic Capital”, has been the home of the modern Olympic Movement for more than a hundred years. Today, more than 50 international sporting organizations call this region their home.This year the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games will be held in Lausanne from 9th and 22nd January 2020. The Youth Olympic Games will feature 8 sports and 16 disciplines. 81 events, there will be 13 mixed team events (NOCs), 34 men's events, and 34 women's events. Ski mountaineering and women's Nordic combined will feature for the first time in an Olympic event.

Philippines: The 30th Southeast Asian Games 2019

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) issues stamps, souvenir sheets, and official first day covers in commemoration of the 30th Southeast Asian Games which the Philippines hosted in 2019. There were fifty-six sports spread out over a total of five hundred thirty separate events, operating at venues such as Clark, Subic, Metro Manila, and other areas. This SEA Games is notable for the inclusion of e-sports. The SEA Games were held from 30 November until 11 December 2019.
