Pope Francis visited Luxembourg on September 26, 2024, marking his 46th Apostolic Journey abroad. This visit was notable as the Pope typically travels to less-visited regions or areas with smaller Catholic populations. This was also the first papal visit since 1985, when Pope John Paul II visited Luxembourg.
